iPod touch heats up during charging?
When I charge my iPod touch it takes a matter of seconds before the bottom left-hand corner begins to heat up. Becoming hot to the touch. Why is that? Should I be worried?
Don't worry; the location of the battery makes the iPod warmer during charging. It's completely normal and shouldn't harm your iPod.

Did you say that it is too hot to touch, or that you can feel the heat when you touch it? If it's too hot to touch, bring it to an Apple Store; you don't want an exploding battery.
