I have a mirror Volvo semi truck left hand with the convex mirror 20720092 less detached from the stem.?
How can I remove the capital to repair the mirror? A new course on the cost CDN $ 1,000.00.
If the truck is the same model as sold in European markets (FH12 FH16 or) as a "cab", you access the inside of the upper body by removing the glass mirror, which is maintained up by a large spring clip on the engine tuning. Grip each end of the circular clip & "get" it, (the best to use long nose pliers) and missing, which should release the mirror. There should be a short "strip" already attatched on the back of the mirror to stop falling. Once removed, you should be able to remove the casing "wide angle" mirror using a "torx" bit to debunk. --- Prices are similar in England, about 350 pounds for a new mirror assembly!
