A recipe for chocolate chip cookies good?
Looking for a recipe for chocolate chip cookies ultimate. Similar to Mrs. Fields cookies or Larry. I try to find a recipe that cooks great, dense and soft. Suggestions?
It's my turn to do something for the committee meeting week I'm attending tonight. A few months ago I made my Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies and everyone has been raving about them since. When the committee secretary announced that it was my turn again everyone said I should do my cookies again and also bring the recipe. It was the first time this committee never agreed on anything! LOL My Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe was adapted from the recipe my mother, but several changes has been made (indicated in bold.) I was told once before it is somewhat similar to the recipe Mrs. Field, but I do not think they have quite the same consistency. * 1 stick unsalted butter * 1 / 2 cup white sugar * 1 / 2 cup dark brown sugar * 1 large egg, room temperature * 2 tablespoons Vermont Grade B maple syrup * 2 tablespoons light cream * 2 oz milk chocolate and grated * 1 1 / 2 cup rolled oats in the old - not instant or quick cooking! * 1 cup chopped pecans finely * 1 bag chocolate chips * Ghirardelli milk pinch of baking powder 1 cup flour * - * moved pinch of salt Preheat oven to Before 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in a mixer. Add eggs, but wait a while to mix before adding the cream and maple syrup. Continue mixing while performing the next step. Place an ungreased Matfer Exopat nonstick baking sheet or Silpat on a baking sheet and spoon a generous dollop of cookie dough at regular intervals on the sheet. The recipe should fill about two sheets with 12 cookies per sheet. If you have left over dough or not enough dough you need to resize your cookies so they're all the same size and shape. Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted in the cookie and can be removed to dry. Remove from exopats and cool on a network wire rack. Product 24 biscuits. Note: To make chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies simply omit the brown sugar, add 1 / 2 cup sour cream when adding cream, melt the milk chocolate 4 oz with 1 tablespoon butter and add the grated chocolate.
