Buddhists: Who is the Lady of the Lotus in Buddhism?

Also known as "Lady Buddha"? What does she represent? I have a bronze statue of her in my room and was told she represents the feminine side to Buddha, that she listened to the people and was very understanding. What else can you tell me about her?

Just looking for more information (preferably from Buddhists or at least open minded people who have studied Buddhism). What is the backstory of Lady Buddha?

(Please no Christian answers about Jesus, the Bible, and all that crap, don't want to hear it, go solicit elsewhere)
Bill J- shut the f*ck up, why don't you take your Bible sh*t up your a**?

As for the other two, thank you very much = )

Yes, that would be my Patroness, Kwan Yin, the Bodhisattvah of Mercy and Compassion. She is also the feminine embodyment of Avaloketashevaraya (Chenrezig in Tibet.) She is also knows as 'she who hears the cries of the world.'
Upon the day of her enlightenment, Kwan Yin was able to go to the Pure Land. As she ascended, she heard everyone she was leaving behind crying in despair. Their suffering in Samsara (cyclic existence) was so great it touched her beautiful heart. She swore to remain behind as a bodhisattvha to ease the suffering of the world.
Her mantra is om mani padme hum and namo kwan shin yi swo ha.
And to the person who didn't think Buddha was real. he was an actual person. I invite you to grab a history book and 'enlighten' yourself.
