How much clearance do I need between exhaust and soft saddlebags?
I'm putting a set of soft (nylon) saddlebags on my motorcycle. What's the minimum clearance I need between the bag and the exhaust to prevent damage to the bags?
My bags are imitation leather(vinyl) .When they are loaded they are 2 1/2 -3 inches from my exhaust and I've run them that way for over 20k. Nothing has melted yet. l
