I don't think that Pros and Cons would have hit it off as well as the Wall did. The reason why everyone immediately took up the Wall and it even became a movie was because it was a story line absolutely everyone understood and related to. Even if they didn't relate to the whole story, there were themes everyone can relate to like insanity, isolation, abandonment etc. and that's what made The wall so great for so many. Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking didn't have that universal feeling to it.
