Are black cats lucky or unlucky?
As I understand it, the English believe that black cats are lucky, while Americans regard them as unlucky? Is this true? If so, why the opposite belief in two countries which seem to share the same cultures? How about in Canada?

so it really depends...but i don't think so. if you see from above superstition, they said it based on real life situation. like when the cat sleeping with all four paws tucked under means cold weather ahead... i usually observed my cat doing that, but my country is always hot....

but to me it means that the cat might have flu. i would be very worried if my cat start to sneeze especially kitten...
i think a black cat is as beautiful as other cats....and i don't think they bring bad luck
