full harmless chemical water treatment for a large fish containg pond that will get rid of algea , bacteria , bad odors , slimes ...etc and will obtain a sparkling good looking water surface
If you kill the algae chemically, it will all drop to the bottom at the same time, rot, use up all the oxygen and your fish will suffocate.
Better solutions, if you haven't tried these yet already, are to shade the pond, depriving the algae of the light it needs, to change some of the water regularly to reduce the concentration of nutrients in the water and to mix it all up. Algae grows best in the water when the water is still and produces layers of different temperatures, if you stirr it up (eg with a waterfall, water wheel or pump), the layers will mix and the growth of the algae will slow down.
