My doctor put me on a "No Sodium Full Liquid Diet", what can i eat!?!?

I'm gtting ready for a surgery and teh doctor put me on a "No Sodium Full Liquid Diet" for 4 days. I can't have more than 1000 mg of sodium a day (and he said thats the most) and a "full liqud", ican eat ice cream and broth, BUT WHAT ELSE!? i know theres more, but the office is closed (its sunday) and I dont knwo what to do!

anyone know whaat i can eat?! im so hungry, and i dont have any ice cream, i havve broth but its full of sodium! ive been drinking tea with honey and lemon but im sooooo hungry1 please help me come up with ideas?!

Dilute the broth so it has less sodium, is one possibility. Jello is usually permitted on a diet like that. Eat ice cubes! How about some chai tea? it has spices in it, so it will give you a bit of variety over the honey and lemon tea. Look for sodium-reduced broths in your grocery store. Add a few slices of ginger to it while you're heating it up to add some flavour (don't eat the ginger: just let it flavour the broth). Clear juices are also permitted: fruit juice, like apple or cranberry. Wait until you can talk to the doctor's office, but you may be able to have some pulp-free citrus juices, as well.
