Sealing and painting concrete basement floor?
Ripping up carpet, cleaning it and then we want to paint it. Is there a product available that is a sealer AND a paint in one or do we have to seal it and then paint it? Also, what sealer and paint should we use and is there any other way of painting other than the old fashioned way (rollers and brushes)? I saw on a home improvement show once, they used some kind of sprayer?
Depending upon the condition of the floor
I would recommend staining the concrete not painting
Look up some DIY concrete staining techniques and you can also tape off grout lines and give the appearance of a tile
Done in new homes all the time
